Graduated in Veterinary Science from Cardenal Herrera University in 2001 (Valencia, Spain), and holds a Master in Animal Production and a PhD in Veterinary Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2010, for which he obtained an Extraordinary PhD Award.
Between 2003 and 2010 he was part of the GR2 Research Group at UAB, participating in the design and management of different public-private funded projects in different areas such as conservation of animal genetic resources, animal nutrition, animal traceability and food safety. In the framework of these activities, he has published several articles in international journals, has supervised doctoral theses and has participated in different congresses in the field of animal production.
Since 2010 he has been working as Global Technical Director of the company Industrial Técnica Pecuaria S.A. (ITPSA) in Barcelona, dedicated to the commercialization of supplements and additives for animal feed. Among his responsibilities are the management of regulatory affairs and technical advice to customers.
