Dr. Manuel Contreras obtained a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University, Santo Domingo (1981), a Master of Science from the Department of Medical Microbiology, University of Georgia (1991) and a diploma from the American College of Poultry Veterinarians. (ACPV) (1996)
Currently, since 2004, he has held the position of Director of Veterinary Services. Agrimprove/Special Nutrients, Miami, Florida, USA.
