Dr. Rijsselaere will be in charge of the presentation “Trace mineral in breeders and layers nutrition: one actualization” that will take place on October 25th at 12:45 a.m. and will be the end of the Congress in Laying and Rearing Hall.
In 2000 Tom graduated as a master in veterinary medicine (DVM) at the faculty of veterinary medicine (Ghent University, Belgium). After graduation, he worked at the department of reproduction (faculty of veterinary medicine, Ghent University) and obtained a Ph.D. in veterinary science and a European Specialist diploma in animal reproduction (dipl ECAR). From 2005 to 2015 he was the head of the clinic for companion animal reproduction at the faculty of veterinary medicine (Ghent University). In 2016 and 2017, Tom worked for the pharmaceutical company CEVA Santé Animale as veterinary manager for the Benelux region. In this position, he was mainly involved in the technical support and marketing of the pharmaceutical products for companion animals. At the beginning of 2018, he joined Orffa as a central technical product manager (worldwide). Orffa develops, customizes, sources and offers feed additives and feed additive concepts for the animal nutrition market.
