Dr. Leeson will present the paper titled “Nutritional changes that should be considered in an AGP-free environment” on October 25th at 10:30 a.m. in the Monogastric Nutrition and Feeding Hall.

Dr. Leeson received a Ph.D. from the University of Nottingham in England in the area of poultry nutrition and since then has been a Professor at the University of Guelph, Canada. Dr. Leeson retired 5 years ago, and now consults extensively all around the world, with particular emphasis in SE Asia, USA, Europe and Latin America. His main area of interest within poultry nutrition include various practical aspects of feed program development. In addition to over 350 papers in refereed journals, three of his six books have become standards that cover both basic aspects of poultry nutrition and commercial application of feeding programs. His extensive research and consulting work has led to particular expertise in the nutrition of broilers, breeders and laying hens.
