Dr. Rodrigo Espinosa is in charge of the presentation of “Management and prevention of reproductive and locomotor disorders in broiler breeders” as part of the Incubation & breeders Workshop sponsored by Jamesway of October 23rd at 9:15 a.m.
Born in Antofagasta, Chile and graduated as Veterinarian in 1998 at the Universidad de Concepción, Chile. He started working in poultry farming in 2000 as a veterinarian for chickens, breeders, of the Processing and Incubation Plant of the Ariztía Company. After 8 years of experience, he applied to the Master of Poultry Medicine program at the University of Georgia, Athens and graduated with a Master’s Degree in December 2011.
Dr. Espinosa is working for the Global Veterinary Team under Dr. Nick Dorko based in Huntsville, AL-USA. He started at Aviagen in March 2012, originally as Technical Services Manager in Latin America based in Guadalajara, Mexico and in July 2013 he assumed his current position as Technical Service Veterinarian for North and Latin America. Among his responsibilities is providing technical support in poultry health to Aviagen customers in this territory.
