Dr. Rodrigo Castillo will talk about “Perspectives and challenges for turkey production in Latin American” on October 25th at 10:30 a.m., located in the Meat, breeders and incubation’s Hall.
Veterinary doctor, with more than 12 years of experience in the agri-food industry. He has worked as a Production Manager in the processing plant or as Health issue Manager in turkeys and broilers. He has also participated in workshops with the country’s authority on animal health issues (birds).
He has worked as a Broiler Veterinarian, where he has improved the result of productive parameters in broilers, the reduction of mortality and the evaluation of litter reusing systems.
He currently works as Deputy Manager of El Paico Agroindustrial Plant where he leads and manages a human team of 1200 people, the production activity and the budget of the plant, seeking to optimize the performance and profitability of the business, based on quality standards and security in force in Ariztía.
