Dr. Bruzual will talk about “Management of broiler breeders for optimizing incubatable egg quality and chick health” that will take place on October 23rd at 11:45h during the Incubation & breeders Workshop sponsored by Jamesway.
Dr. Jose Bruzual is a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine by the Central University of Venezuela. He also has a Master’s Degree in Poultry Science from North Carolina State University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Avian Medicine from the University of Georgia. Dr. Bruzual has worked for big companies, including Perdue Farms, Embrex, Inc. (now Zoetis) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture in the US. Before coming to the US, he worked with Protinal and Purina in Venezuela.
Dr. Bruzual had been a part of the Aviagen Global Veterinary Team as a Regional Technical Service Veterinarian since December 2010. And later, between 2016-2017, Dr. Bruzual became the Regional Technical Manager of Latin America coordinating Aviagen Technical Service Managers efforts to maintain excellent bird performance in coordination with the company group of specialists to attend customer needs as well as participating in technical activities that provide customers with firsthand information for optimum production.
Since January 2018, Dr. Bruzual works as Senior Poultry Veterinarian for North and Latin America, keeping birds healthy and giving advice on disease prevention and control, in order to maximize production in the customer’s particular conditions.
