On October 23rd, Dr. José Arce Menocal will give a presentation at 9:15 a.m. titled Analysis of the environmental and body temperature on the productive response in broiler chickens which is part of the Nutrition & Feeding Workshop sponsored by Tectron.

Dr. José Arce Menocal from Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. He is a Zootechnician Vet, graduated from the Michoacana University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo, he also is graduated in Poultry Farming in Spain; Specialty of Poultry Production Systems, at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Master and Doctorate in Animal Sciences, focused in Metabolic Diseases of Birds, at the University of Colima, Mexico. Professor / Researcher of the Michoacán University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo, at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics for 34 years, teaching the subjects of Production Systems and Commercialization of Poultry Products. He has directed 40 theses of both Bachelor’s / Master’s and Doctorates and he has published 32 articles in indexed scientific journals, 108 works in extenso in International memories, 118 in National Congresses, 10 in Diplomats, 38 in Divulgation magazines, 4 Manuals and 4 Chapters of Books; given 175 conferences in 12 countries of America and Spain and received 13 awards and National awards. He belongs to the National System of Researchers (National Council of Science and Technology – CONACYT-) Level I and is an active member of the National Association of Specialists in Animal Nutrition in Mexico.
